An AI business transformation leader to own Investment team workflows within an established Private Equity Fund.

Overview

This role sits at the intersection of business process optimisation, artificial intelligence, and organisational change. The successful candidate will lead the identification, design, and implementation of AI-driven solutions embedded directly into core business workflows.

The position requires a hands on practitioner who can rapidly translate operational challenges into practical AI applications, from prompt prototypes through to scalable agent-based solutions, ensuring measurable business value is delivered.

Key Responsibilities

1. Use Case Identification & AI Solution Mapping

  • Identify high-impact AI opportunities across business workflows
  • Define hypotheses, baseline metrics, success criteria, and risk guardrails
  • Ensure all initiatives are tied to measurable business outcomes prior to development

2. Prompt Prototyping & Feasibility Assessment

  • Design, test, and iterate prompts and early-stage AI solutions
  • Evaluate output quality, consistency, and risk (e.g. hallucinations)
  • Identify data requirements, context gaps, and integration needs

3. Solution Definition & Delivery Alignment

  • Develop clear solution charters outlining problem statements, ownership, and requirements
  • Collaborate with technical teams to define architecture, integrations, and solution boundaries
  • Ensure alignment between business needs and technical implementation

4. Change Management & Adoption

  • Lead stakeholder engagement, communication, and rollout planning
  • Design and deliver training and enablement programmes
  • Track adoption metrics including usage, efficiency gains, and user feedback

5. Roadmap & Value Realisation

  • Maintain a structured AI roadmap aligned to business priorities
  • Monitor performance against baseline metrics and expected outcomes
  • Provide regular reporting on value delivered, risks, and opportunities

Candidate Profile

Experience

  • 5–8+ years in product management, consulting, or operational transformation
  • Experience working with complex business workflows in a corporate or financial services environment
  • Proven track record in business case development and leading change initiatives

AI & Technical Capability

  • Practical experience working with large language models and prompt design
  • Understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, and common failure modes
  • Familiarity with concepts such as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and structured outputs

Mindset & Approach

  • Action-oriented with a strong bias towards rapid prototyping and iteration
  • Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong sense of ownership, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes
