AI Operating Partner

Leading Tech focused PE firm is seeking an experienced Operator to help drive AI adoption, modernization, and value creation across a portfolio of high-growth software and tech businesses.

Working closely with investors, CEOs, and leadership teams, you will assess AI readiness, identify opportunities for operational improvement and revenue growth, and help shape long-term technology strategies that create sustainable competitive advantage.

Ideal candidate would be a former C-Suite Operator, General Manager, Tech Exec, or Transformation Leader who combines strong commercial judgement with deep expertise in AI, software, and business transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise portfolio company leadership teams on AI strategy, modernization, and technology-enabled growth
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability, and scalability through AI and automation
• Assess technology platforms, data capabilities, and product roadmaps
• Support investment teams in evaluating technology businesses and AI-driven value creation opportunities
• Challenge assumptions and provide independent, operator-level perspective on strategic technology decisions
• Act as a trusted advisor to CEOs navigating AI adoption and organizational change
• Help define practical AI use cases across commercial, operational, and corporate functions

Candidate Profile

• 15+ years of leadership experience within technology-driven businesses
• Former CEO, GM, CPO, CTO, or senior operating executive preferred
• Strong understanding of AI, automation, data platforms, and modern software environments
• Track record of leading transformation, modernization, or growth initiatives
• Ability to engage credibly with investors, boards, and executive teams
• Strong strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with private equity, growth equity, or venture-backed companies is advantageous
